This new venture in our mission outreach is the result of a sense of calling to serve the persecuted church in teaching and discipleship. After a few years in prayer and waiting, the Lord confirmed a way forward through visions and doors opening for us to move.
In Jan 2020, Pastor Farhad was invited to join Pastor Siddique Paul on a mission trip to visit Lahore, Pakistan. Pastor Khan preached at a youth conference and a number of church services. He visited many families and also accompanied Pastor Siddique on his engagements.
This trip has connected us directly with Christians in poverty and in persecuted situations. Since then CBC has been involved in sending financial support to families affected by the COVID 19 pandemic of 2020, where christians were suffering discrimination in ration handouts.
Since our Pakistan mission trip we have been involved in forming a ministry platform called Messiah to Nations [M2N]. In conjunction with Pastor Siddique Paul and a small team, M2N is seeking to build a ministry that can engage with muslims in conversations about Jesus, the Bible and the Quran through a comparative study. We also aim to train and prepare believers to do these comparative studies with muslims. We hope to be able to support Pastor Siddique in his evangelism and Pastor Farhad with his preaching and teaching ministries internationally.
