Our church began in 1963 as an outreach from
Kingston Baptist Church (ACT) with approximately
12 people. The first meeting was held in the Citizens
Centre in Vale Street,
In 1970 Bruce Dipple was appointed the first full time
Pastor.
ln 1972 we built a functional chapel on the corner of
Smith and Baron Street.
Under the leadership of Kevin Carlson in 1994 the
church moved to this current site and commenced
Snowy Mountains Christian School in 1997.
Under our current minister, Rev Gary Reurich we have
continued to grow and employed our first part time Youth
Pastor, Chad Olsen in 2003,
Our current Youth Pastors are Clint and Jen Staj,
Together we seek to love and serve God and our community of Cooma-Monaro.
